SerendipityRose

I'm a native Texan, and I admit that I am a craft-aholic! I also love to travel anytime I get the chance. I love spending time with my husband, children and grandchildren, and the rest of our family and friends.I love mixing colors, textures, styles, shapes, sizes of all sorts of beads. I often spend much more time designing than in crafting since I have so much fun with it.I've been creating with beads since I walked into a local bead store to get my then teenage daughter some beads to string and to look at crystals for my older daughter's wedding tiarra that my sister and I would later design.I found Etsy last February and have enjoyed every minute of the site surfing that I have done. I'm in awe of the neverending supply of wonderful handmade goodies that I can enjoy drooling over at the click of a button. I'm also loving displaying my own goodies on Etsy, which gives me the excuse to buy jewelrymaking supplies so I can make more beaded pretties so I can buy more supplies so that I can make even more pretties.......well you probably get the picture. Each piece is designed and crafted by me, with quality components that include precious and semi precious gems, gold-filled and sterling silver, swarovski crystal, Czech glass, freshwater pearls, lampwork beads, and sometimes vintage goodies. The exceptions are the occasional trendy, casual pieces and gift items. I may use copper, leather, buttons, and other quality materials for these fun pieces. In other words, I have a very eclectic style which suits me to a 'T'.In a nutshell, I love to design and create, as much as I love to discover and enjoy what others have designed and created.Do take a peek at her store. It really is a unique craft experience and not just "another etsy jewelry crafter". Thanks for playing my game, Pam, i wish you great success with your etsy store!

CindyJoy

Growing up in a household where people were constantly making things as diverse as clothing, built in bookcases, quilts, painted wooden ornaments, stained glass ornaments, padded and appliquéd felt ornaments, embroidered pillows, ceramic tiles, made from scratch baked goods and savory dishes it really shouldn’t be surprising that I am happiest when I am making something with my hands. I tried the corporate life of a CPA. It made me miserable. I’m a much nicer person when I spend some part of my day doing something creative. And I love doing things with and for my children. Bundles of Joy was a natural outgrowth of my pent up creativity and the happiness that my children bring me. I like including my children, so I decorate my onesies with the art of my elder son (with a portion of every sale going to his college fund) and Ethan, who will always be my baby, models for me. For more information on how I got here, see my profile in my ETSY shop or on my blog. Watch for new items to be appearing in my shop when I return from vacation toward the middle of August. I’ve got new things on my design board, and I’m going to work out some of the kinks while I visit my parents. Ah, the family that crafts together, stays together – that’s what we say around here!I love the concept of bundles of joy and what you are doing to create a good life for your family. I find some of the onesies for sale so beautifully done, it's amazing. All the very best to you CindyJoy.

Koryn-TheTaffyBox

I am an Air Force wife and mother to four kids ages 20, 18, 16 and 15. We love to travel and spend time outdoors. We have lived all over the world and are settled now in Northern Virginia where my husband is stationed at The Pentagon. I teach preschool part time and enjoy creating something each and every day, whether it be jewelry designs or trying a new recipe! I have been making mothers jewelry since 1992 and opened my two online shops last year, http://MothersPreciousGems.com and http://TheTaffyBox.com . I hope you'll come take a peek at my creations!

My name is Allison (craftgirlalli on Etsy). I live in central Indiana. I have a son who is almost 15months old. My son and my best friend were the reason I started painting. My friend actually introduced the idea to me, and my son gave me the motivation. I haven't even been doing this for a year yet, so its all still fairly new to me. I just happened to come across Etsy by chance, but I am so glad I found it! Lately, I haven't added many new things, I just haven't had the time. But I'm hoping to change that here soon! I also have a blog. The things I write about on there are very random. Some days its a feature on another EtsyMom, other days its about family life. I guess its just a little peak into my world. http://www.craftgirlalli.blogspot.com

Thanks Allison! I so know the feeling of being squeezed for time. I think your flip-flop sign is so adorable! All the best to you.

MountainLaurelSilver

My name is Kristien, I live in Greenville, SC. I've been doing metalworking for about 4 years now, and my metals studio is set up in a barn in my backyard. I get pretty much all of my inspiration from things in nature. For example, I have a line of "Mushroom Rings" that are like little abstracted forms of mushrooms. Two of them are in the shop. I also do more literal nature pieces, like my Mountain jewelry, which are some of my favorites because my mountains (The Blue Ridge) are really special to me. Right now the shop has two Mountain pieces, I just sold a third, and I'm working on another. They feature silhouettes of mountain ridges the way you would see them if looking off an overlook or big hill. I'm also working right now on doing some mountain animal pieces, that is, critters that would be found in my mountains. I'm so excited about it! I just opened up a craft blogl so if you'd like ot check it our, hop over to:http://mountainlaurelsilver.blogspot.com/

Small, Shiny Objects

Sarah:"I've been on etsy only a few months (since March 2008), and found it to be a really positive environment. Everyone is so helpful here, and the forums are just full of great information and friendly people. I'm hoping to do a lot of expanding with SSO within the next year or so...more items, different styles, etc."I could always use another shiny thing...always have room for one more. Do visit her store for great gift ideas...i think buying yourself a gift counts too...doesn't it? Hurry, visit her store...Thanks Sarah, for visiting this blog!

HolyCraft

I'm Abby and I'm a wife and mom to a couple of, shall we say, *energetic* kiddos! Ashlyn is 3 and Maguire is 1. My crafting started years (and years!) back when my best friend and I started "Wedgewood's Woodworks". We made things out of popsicle sticks and sold them at the end of our driveways. Wedgewood Drive had virtually no traffic, so I'm sure our mothers made several calls to the neighbors to get them to come buy from us ;) My crafting has continued to evolve over the years but it's still largely inspired by children. I love to make things to give as gifts. Whether it's a few hair bows, a set of burp cloths and some custom blocks for a friend who just had a baby girl; a "Squash Album" for a friend's bachelorette party; a darling little crocheted dress for my niece; or the latest project I'm attempting, I just love giving things I've created! It's one of my greatest joys in life to use my God-given abilities to craft something and then sit back and be proud of the results! Everything I make and sell on Etsy is something that I would be proud to give as a gift or to use with my own kids or in my own home. I'm confident that you'll love my things too! If you don't see *exactly* what you'd like, I always welcome--and very much enjoy!--custom orders!

MommyHolly

My name is Holly and I am 25 years old. I am a single mom to an adorable 4-year old and I am in school trying to finish up as quick as possible! :) I have always loved to be creative, but have recently really gotten into card-making, sewing, quilting, and scrapbooking! The days that I am able to stay home and create are my favorites, and it helps having a crafty little helper (my son!) at my side each day. :)She has a great little store and will do custom orders if you contact her. Check it out today! My favorite category is her variety of handmade cards.
